A new Mediterranean-inspired café in Midtown Miami is marking its opening on October 31 with a dog-friendly Halloween celebration, a puppy costume contest and complimentary matcha and bites.
Café by ZIVA is celebrating its grand opening in Midtown Miami with a Halloween Puppy Costume Party on Saturday, October 31, 2026, inviting local residents and their four-legged companions to join the festivities from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The daytime celebration will bring together Halloween costumes, café treats and a puppy costume contest, offering a playful introduction to the new Mediterranean-inspired café from the team behind ZIVA Restaurant.
Halloween Costumes, Prizes and Café Treats
The highlight of the morning will be a puppy costume contest beginning at noon, with dogs invited to show off their Halloween outfits. Winners will receive gifts from local Miami dog spas, with additional participating partners and prizes expected to be announced ahead of the event.
Guests can also enjoy complimentary ceremonial vanilla-infused cold foam matcha, along with sandwich bites served during the celebration.
The event is free and open to the public, although advance RSVP is required for dogs entering the costume contest.
“Midtown is such a dog-friendly neighborhood, and we wanted our grand opening to feel like the community we see around us every day,” said Francesco Campoy, owner of Café by ZIVA.
A New Daytime Spot in Midtown Miami
The celebration also introduces Café by ZIVA, a new all-day café bringing the Mediterranean-inspired hospitality of ZIVA Restaurant into a more relaxed daytime setting.
Located at 3252 NE 1st Avenue, the café serves coffee, matcha, breakfast and brunch, catering to everything from weekday morning stops to leisurely weekend gatherings.
The café operates from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays and from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekends.
