Based in Ireland, Dineest has a strong interest in Irish restaurants, pubs, producers, food events and local hospitality, while also looking beyond Ireland to noteworthy food stories, traditions and events across Europe and further afield.

Our editorial coverage includes restaurant and hospitality news, food and drink guides, culinary traditions, festivals and events, local discoveries, and stories about the people and businesses shaping hospitality.

Some stories begin with a restaurant, dish or destination. Others explore the history behind familiar foods, explain something people encounter on a menu, or look at the traditions and ideas that influence how we eat today.

We want Dineest to be useful, accessible and enjoyable to read.

Our coverage is based on research, first-hand experiences where applicable, information from businesses and event organisers, and reliable public sources. We aim to distinguish editorial coverage from advertising and sponsored content and to correct factual errors when they are identified.

Where possible, we also use original photography and first-hand observations to give readers a closer look at the places, food and experiences we cover.
